This can affect the performance of the company. It can also lead to a drop in revenue. Personal harm can be caused by changing your password or something else.
The virus was discovered by the company in March 2022. The virus is called Goodwill Ransomware. Those who have created the virus under this name are allegedly working to help social justice.

Goodwill ransomware prevents the user from accessing important photos, videos, databases, and files. There are three things people need to do to get their data back.
The condition is to
- Give clothes to the homeless and record them on mobile and post them on social media
- Take the five poor children to places like Domino's, Pizza Hut, and post photos of them.
- People are then asked to write on their social media accounts that,
Goodwill Ransomware made me a better person.
After doing so, the data is returned to the victim. CloudSec also identified who is doing this, the one who works for an Indian IT security and services provider.
